4. How We Store and Protect Your Data

All information is securely stored in the Jane App, which is hosted in Canada and fully compliant with HIA and PIPEDA standards. Only authorized Elevate Health staff can access your information, and all staff are trained in privacy best practices.

 

5. When We Share Your Information

We never share your information without your explicit consent, unless required by law (such as mandatory reporting or court orders). With your consent, we may share information with other healthcare providers involved in your care.

 

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal and health information

  • Request corrections to your records

  • Obtain a copy of your records

7. How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain your records as required by law and professional guidelines. When no longer needed, your information is securely deleted or destroyed from the Jane App.

 

8. Your Choices

You may withdraw your consent for the collection, use, or sharing of your information at any time (subject to legal or contractual limits and reasonable notice). Please note, this may affect our ability to provide you with services.

 

9. Privacy Breaches

If a privacy breach occurs, we will notify you and the relevant authorities promptly, as required by the HIA and PIPEDA.
